Sales figures show that Kanye West is the winner of the showdown! Kanye's "Graduation" album has outsold 50 Cent's "Curtis";figures show that Kanye West has sold 955,000 copies of his cds.

So what does Kanye think of all of this? Well, i bet he is notwhining anymore. In fact,Kanye feels very "humbled" by this win and he is very "overwhelmed." West told The Associate Press(AP):"Everyone is coming up to me and telling me how proud they are of me." Kanye West is always so humble.

What does 50 cent think of this? I am thinking that his face probably looks like the one in this picture. Although 50 Cent's album sold more than 500,000 copies,it is a big letdown to the rapper who once sold 1.1 million cds in one week.

50 cent said to AP news: "I am very excited to have participated in one of the biggest album release weeks in the last two years. Collectively, we have sold hundreds of thousands of units in our debut week. This marks a great moment for hip hop music, one that will go down in history."


50 cent is right. This showdown was a great marketing ploy,one that i know other artists will try to emulate.

50 cent may have to retire because according to crediblesources,Kanye West is outselling the Queens rapper. You may all remember that a few weeks ago,as part of a marketing ploy,i am sure,50 cent promised to retire as a solo artist if he didn't outsell Kanye West in the first week of album sales. Well,apparently 50's album "Curtis" isn't doing as well as Kanye's "Graduation" CD.


Well, maybe 50 can retire for two years and then come back like rap mogul Jay Z did. Either way something tells me that both artists will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Video Review: As far as the video goes,i am loving the video. It's innovative when compared to other music videos we have seen of late. It's futuristic appeal matches the song very well.

Song Review: There are times that I feel that Kanye West is a bit overrated-this would be one of those times. I like the beat,it is a recyled beat(Daft Punk's "Harder,Better,Stronger,Faster"),but a catchy beat nontheless. But what is Kanye West actually saying in this song? The lyrics to this song do not show that Kanye West is growing as an artist.
